Video: Burgundy Smokey Eyes for Fall

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

I did this look inspired by fall colors. Burgundy is one shade that always reminds of Fall and hence I thought why not do a smokey eyes look using this lovely shade. I have used mainly matte eye shadows with a pop of shimmer under the brows and in the tear duct. Since the eyes are so dramatic, I decided to keep the rest of the look very natural.

Products used:
Face:
  • Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation in #24 (review here
  • MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC42 to hide my blemishes
  • MAC Prolong Wear Concealer in NC42 + Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder #2 (check my under eye darkness concealing routine here)
  • Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Powder #40
  • Nars Bronzer in Laguna
  • Nars Blush in Madly (review here
  • Nars Blush in Albatross

Eyes:
  • MAC Paint pot in Artifact
  • MAC Eye Shadows: Deep Damson (Pro), Texture, Carbon, Naked Lunch
  • Bourjois Smokey eye pencil in Ultra Black
  • Chanel Le volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir (Review here
Lips:
  • MAC Lipstick in Hug Me
  • Estee Lauder Lipgloss in Sugar Rush

  1. very very pretty! The Damson, I'm assuming, is the shade on your lid that photographs a deep plum. Gorgeous. I just tried a deep red shadow from BH Cosmetics that I got in this month's ipsy bag, and it's an interesting look (I'm a redhead), but the shade you used is lovely. I also love that your smokey eye isn't overly smokey, just pretty :)
